Formed with barely 5 Colt owners back in 15th June 2003, DC3 (as it is better known today) turned 2 in June 2005. A Sunday noon EVent in June, at a cost of $10,000 (with much thanks to participating sponsors) gathered 200 members for a birthday bash - DC3 is a proud forum with 900+ cars and over 1000 members and counting!
Today, DC3 is much more than just being a car forum that shares & exchanges information on the Mitsubishi Colt. The demographics of the members has grown tremendously, from 2 month olds to 45 yr olds, male and female Colt Owners plus family members. There’s a place for everyone from babies to wives and health enthusiasts plus pet owners, and of coz, car proud owners. Meet ups are extremely regular and members gather to exchange information and arrangement on group buys for accessories. The forum is always buzzing and members get invited for conference chats daily on yahoo messenger.
Car convoys for members’ weddings, Malaysia drive-up trips, family outings on Sundays, makan sessions in JB, shopping trips, clubbing, movies, chill out sessions, coffee & especially D.I.Y. sessions….you name it, DC3 did it! The founders, Jeff Yeo(Biohapzard) and Steven (Keoki) started the excitement and now it’s not just a forum for Colts, but we’ve welcomed our new members for the Colt Plus and Colt Plus Turbo owners as well. The forum is run by a team of moderators who, alongside their work, dedicate most of their time and energy in serving their passion for the forum and their beloved Colt.
Members diligently spread by word-of-mouth as well as clipping information on every Colt that is being spotted at car parks and around the neighbourhood etc.. Newbies log into the forum and from their first posting, they are welcomed into the DC3 big family of fun. T-shirts and other club merchandizes like stickers etc. are readily available in the forum, the only criteria is that you will have to make it to at least one of the meet ups to be able to purchase any of these – we would really prefer to know who we are talking to behind the screen. Great friendships have developed within this club.
